PIPE DREAM coming soon...

our 5th annual big summer show is a banger!
Pipe Dream is inspired by the Pied Piper of Hamelin and reimagined through the neon glow of 1987, as MTV, consumer culture and the pursuit of success take hold. When five young friends begin to notice something unsettling about their parents’ growing obsession with wealth, status and television screens promising a better life, they find themselves at the centre of a mystery.
As adults across the town begin to disappear, the children must uncover the truth behind a charismatic figure who speaks through music and plays a tune too enchanting to resist.
“For the first time, we’ve chosen to cast our young performers as children their own age, allowing youth voice to sit at the heart of this production,” said Laura Berridge, writer and director of Pipe Dream. “Adults will be represented through large-scale puppetry, created in collaboration with puppet maker Jo Feijó and brought to life by professional puppeteers Lori Hopkins and Ben Moores. The production also incorporates multimedia storytelling, with West End performer Robert Hands appearing as the Pied Piper in a striking on-screen role. Robert is currently appearing in Cabaret and is also known for performances in Chicago, Spamalot and Mamma Mia! in the West End. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance in Come From Away. We are thrilled to give our young performers the opportunity to work alongside established theatre professionals of the highest calibre while exploring innovative forms of performance.
Pipe Dream combines live theatre, puppetry and digital media to create something truly unique."
Big summer show 2025
Masters of the Verse is Arts Insight's fourth annual big summer show. This year we were thrilled to be hosted by The Albany Theatre in Coventry, a true community driven arts space that welcomed our show and cast of young performers and made us feel truly supported, scene and heard. We are all so proud of the original show we created, which you can see here in pictures and videos.

Engagement in the arts changes lives. The positive impact of the arts on health, social mobility and wellbeing is now irrefutable. I passionately believe that everyone in this country, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, should be able to participate.
I am thrilled our foundation is able to support projects that widen access, inspire creativity and deliver opportunities. We are proud to support Arts Insight, enriching young lives and empowering the next generation to succeed."
